HIF6 Airbox

Post by Mr. V »

I was wondering if there is a more traditional but free flowing airbox with which I could replace the K&N conical pancake on my HIF6. I don't like the look of the K&N and I don't like the induction noise.

Any suggestions (metal preferred)?

I have a mini air filter fitted to an HIF44 on my 1275 traveller.

Thanks for that. Is it metal? What state of tune is your engine in? Are you happy with the flow? And so on and so forth.

It is the later plastic type. The car is not tuned but runs pretty well with this setup.
