I was just driving my 1098 moggy it was okay when i first started and after I accelerated to about 45mph the engine seemed to lose power and started spluttering. I pulled over and fiddled with the choke and it seems to go away when I gently pressed the pedal but then it came back until I let the car warm up for a little bit with a good bit of choke and it went away.
Once the car has warmed up properly it doesn't happen again for the rest of the day.
I assume it could be a fuel issue as the car has already been fitted with new electrical components.

Re: Engine spluttering and losing power
Are youjust pushing the choke in too soon before fully warmed up, especially noticeable if the mixture is set a little weak.
