Bonnet badges

Post by betjent »

Hi

I have a Traveller from 69. It has the front bonnet badge which is small and the above single chrome stripe which goes al the way down to the badge.
I wonder if its correct ?
Because all pictures I see of Travellers have the different Bonnet badges in the middle front. The Bull motiff is longer in the top and they have the top badge with the M in (flash)
Is my badges in fact for a van or something ?

Anybody knows whats right for my car ?
The car is registred in Denmark which could make a difference
cheers

Sounds like the LCV (van/pick up) arrangement to me. If you replace it, don't throw the old ones away, sell or pass them on. Is it an LCV bonnet too (does it have no trim pieces at the sides, those bits which would have the coach line oainted on them)?

Okay - maybe you are right. Yes it has the "wings" on the sides. Normal Bull motiff witk coach lines.
Have you seen Travellers before with that arrangement ?

Looking at the bonnet ONLY, this is the early type (same as the van):

This is the late one which you SHOULD have on your Traveller (in fact ALL travellers ever made):
