Looking for YAY 800 (1961 Convertible in Old English White)

Post by thesmithsUK »

Hi all,

Anyone know of its whereabouts?

I sold it around 20 years ago. Would love to know how it’s getting on.

Contact the MMOC office in Derby and ask if they have a record of it. If yes, then they can pass your details to the current keeper.

No current record of ownership, sadly.

Keep your eyes posted, everyone!

Apparently it’s taxed until June.

As an aside, I love that garage, with those big old wood doors, made for a classic car.
Best wishes,
Mike.
1954 Series 2: 4 door: "Sally" -- Running again, extracted from the garage, just needs the engine running fine tuning.....
1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- In the garage as she's not revving properly........
1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine, wants work, now also in the garage......

Seems to have gone off-grid (well, at least off the MMOC's radar)...

Yes, I always liked to take a peek inside at the car when I was walking/cycling that way!

Try the MMOC Facebook group as it gets more traffic than this forum these days.

Try all the farcebook groups.
Although the MMOC one has, AFAIK, the highest following, that doesn't necessarily indicate the highest level or quality of activity.
