Name of rubber parts on door?
What is the name of these rubber parts I’ve circled on the door? I’m looking to replace them. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be removed before painting… I’ve looked at the parts diagrams and tried a search on ESM but I can’t seem to find them. Thank you.

Grommets or blanking grommets.

Thank you!
I was just searching “door rubbers” to no avail.

Here is at least one of the blanking grommets:-

I note that your door peg rubber is missing.
Below is what should be fitted to the peg:-

Re: Name of rubber parts on door?
Thank you, I’ve ordered the door grommets. Sadly the peg ring is out of stock.
I was thinking about removing the metal fixings and cleaning the paint off or replacing them but I’m worried that I might struggle to align them again. Is that possible to go wrong?

I would personally leave well alone as regards the chrome fittings. You can only see those items when the door is open.
Replace the peg ring when it becomes available.
The peg washer appears to be available from Moss Europe

I've never been able to find them in the AKD3541 or 3542. The illustration you're expect them to be on is this one
It clearly shows the little 'Washer (rubber)' item 25 that Phil noticed missing.
But I digress....
I'd seen the grommets advertised for around 60p each, or listed as NCA elsewhere......
But I checked the size of the hole, and it's around 25mm, although by no means a perfect circle.
Too late for you as you've ordered some but....
Pack of 10 x 25mm electrical grommets, as used on wall socket boxes etc.
Under £2 from the DIY store.
Worth noting if anyone else needs them

Thanks Phil, you don't know they're missing if you've never had them . My car hasn't got them

The two door plugs (grommets) are shown on A6-1 adjoining BA14-1 of the body parts list
Part number is AAA1781 (6 off) Plug door shut face

Ahhhh
How sensible of them to list item 34 between 12 and 14, there must have been some really superstitious people in the Parts Office

Thanks for the info.
