Lovely walk
What a nice walk with the dog this morning in warm sunshine, walking along a river bank I saw a host of buttercups mixed with bluebells. Nature at its best, enhanced by some plastic bottles an old car tyre and a couple of doggie bags full of MY FAVOURITE CAR IS A DATSUN CHERRY hanging from a tree.
The latter curtesy of some form of human, rather than nature. I know what I’d like to see hanging from a tree.

Re: Lovely walk
Dog s**t left on pavements, paths or hanging in bags should be force fed to the dogs owner

Re: Lovely walk
I struggle with the logic of this. If you are prepared to carry bags and actually pick up the dog mess, you've done the hard bit. Why then hang it in tree ?! Putting it in the bin is the easy bit. The human psyche can be hard to fathom out...

Re: Lovely walk
I used to enjoy picking up my doggy doo.... especially in winter, was a nice hand warmer.

I must admit I’ve also forgotten to take my doggy bags with me on the odd occasion but rather than pick it up on those times, I sweep it into the undergrowth.

I understand that in some parts of the country you need by law to carry poo bags. If you do not have sufficient poo bags you can be fined.

Re: Lovely walk
Does that still apply if you don't own a dog Phil?

Re: Lovely walk
Apparently it does.
So long as you are walking the dog even if you do not own the dog you must have poo bags in your possession.

Ah, yes, that's the problem with logic - it's very difficult to argue against.

Re: Lovely walk
Well I take one dog and two bags, usually only needing one, if I used both, from then on, would I be committing an offence ?
Who started all this stuff anyway ? ————-Oh hang on, it was me !
