So the piece of string attached mine running through the pulley block in garage roof and then to the garage door that lifts the bonnet when I open said garage door was missold to me at a morris minor auto bonnet lift :roll: it's in fact an ornament puĺler :tu1:

I thought it was not recommended to use the handle/ornament/flash for a bonnet lifting rope. It isn’t robust enough. It’s safer to have a rope that loops under the bonnet.

Sounds a bit of a Heath Robinson arrangement - unless this is another leg-pull.......... :-?

It's a bonnet pull not a leg pull :lol: sorry it was a few days late in posting but it is still April

You could tie things to it and have them flutter in the wind.Or a flag on a post.It could become know as the uses bar

It's a bonnet pull not a leg pull :lol: sorry it was a few days late in posting but it is still April
