Hi All,
With you help I now know which way I am going with the sticking clutch and brake pedals (new bits) and I was wondering, although the brakes feel fine / firm, but as I have the gearbox & MC covers etc. off, is it worth replacing new seals to the Master Cylinder (Lockheed version) whilst I have access to everything, or do I just leave things alone and not disturb?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank.

Re: Master Cylinder Seals
If it's working OK, I would leave well alone. Stripping it down risks dirt entering (cleanliness is essential when working on brakes) and means that you have to bleed the system. If it does need attention in the future, then you need only remove the M/C cover, not the entire gearbox cover.

... and beware of sub-standard seals , try for original Lockheed/Girling ( as marked on the seal ) and correct size.
