HPH 125K now downunder....

Bearing in mind HPH 121-125K were all Austin Minor vans, something amiss🤣

Please, ALWAYS check the "id numbers" when buying!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

According to the DVLA 'WKT 619' is still showing as untaxed since 1996, so is it still there?
Shame if so, I bet it's not so shiny now :-( ...............
Best wishes,
Mike.

1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......

Names from the past in this 18 year old thread, where are they now? ————- probably in a nice semi-detached house in the suburbs, with kids and running around in a Merc. With just a vague recollection of owning an old banger, the name of which is probably long forgotten !! :-?

I DO bang on about "numbers" but it can be SO handy in some cases...

Recent Minor to crop up being a S11, whilst regn is on DVLA site as currently taxed & tested, however the REAL Minor the regn came from - confirmed by original vin, body & engine plates - has been uncovered.

Stress' the importance of recording all these seemingly unimportant details..

Story possibly mentioned in a future minor matters

There must be hundreds of Minors out there with mismatched numbers, that continue to exist. Who do you report any of this to, and to what end. Like an old broom—— 4 new handles, 3 new brushes. I suppose you could start a booklet of naughty numbers Chris. :D

I DO list stolen vehicles on the database, but tbh with the absence of any other numbers - body/engine details to match to original vin - there's not much chance of proving anything.

Very few owners note other id numbers, as I've stated before, a screwed on plate is no proof of anything, only so much that can be done.
