Why I haven’t noticed before I don’t know but the ride height on the N/S front is lower than the O/S, I would have thought I’d have set them equal initially. I’m thinking I need to move the lower arm a spline. I know the measurement for an unladen vehicle, I’d be interested to know how much one spline raises or lowers the height ?

Each spline raises or lowers the suspension by 1.5".

The workshop manual shown looks incredibly thorough. I've existed on the Haynes one. Where can I get a much more detailed one?

Amazon have reprints of the 1970 Leyland workshop manual for sale. It’s paperback but the quality of the printing is good and there are diagrams rather than photographs (I find the Haynes manual photographs largely useless).

Whilst the above is in a two ring folder I always prefer mounting the pages in a four ring folder as it holds the pages better.

I would also recommend obtaining a late Morris Marina/Ital workshop manual as there is far more detail especially regarding the 'A' Series engine torque settings and build process. Lots of good detailed illustrations too.
