Disc brake conversion

Post by MoggyMatilda »

Hi, just wanted to ask people who have done a disc conversion which one they went for? I’ve been looking on ESM & they have a few different types varying in price.

I have had fitted for some considerable time the Morris Marina disc brake conversion. No faults or problems and it does what it says on the tin.

ESM's cheapest conversion, easy to fit and spares are cheap too.

Ditto, seconded, Marina disks on two Travellers for more years and more miles than I care to remember; no problems. simple to fit, reliable. good performance.

I fitted the Ford based disks in the 1980s. Still on the original pads. They work well and no problems. I think any main stream disk breaks will work well as the minor is not a heavy car.
