Accidental Christmas card

A heavy snow storm started as I was driving home and I was forced to abandon my car, luckily not far from my house. I did accidentally create a great Christmas card picture, though!

I'm terrified it's going to get smashed into now, there are cars sliding all over the place!

I've managed to get it back now. The Moggie made it up the hill and home while modern cars failed, due to its skinny tyres, I think.

I've always found the Minor very able in the snowy conditions. Good ground clearance, not too much power, skinny tyres.....
Add a bit of weight in the boot and make sure that you have some decent tread on those tyres too I have always had a spare pair of wheels fitted with "Mud and Snow" tyres ("Town and Country" tyres back in the day!). Makes a big difference. I've never really got stuck much even in quite deep snow.

Lovely picture - you could try selling it to a Greeting Card Company. You could do a rights lease to them for a couple of years.

I don't have 'photoshop' but I did have a play and came up with the below.........

This second version, below, was created using a filter I have, which for some strange reason is called 'Denim' , I like to think it ages it slightly, though you may want to re-touch the letters to make their red colouring deeper again......

Yep, definitely looks like it is burning oil

I've taken the liberty of copying the image and sent it to my daughter who was a Wedding Photographer (with her husband) and still has expensive s/w to "alter" images.
I've asked if she can do the biz on this image.

I've just got back from holiday so I've only just seen these replies. I'm glad my photo seems to have generated interest.

Jagnut, it does rather look like that on a cold start at the moment!
