Clutch slave cylinder

Post by TStanb »

Hi
I’ve just converted my Smooth cased box to hydraulic clutch but stupidly used an old Mini clutch slave cylinder that now leaks. It worked OK but I’d rather use the proper MM/A35/Spridget part this time.
What is the part number I need to use when ordering?
Many thanks

The Mini clutch slave cylinder is more than suitable for use with a Minor hydraulic clutch conversion and has the same Pt No: GSY110 as the MG/Sprite slave cylinder.
What I would recommend is that if you are not using the Minor cut down operating rod you make the slave cylinder operating rod adjustable.
Below is a photo of a classic Mini/Midget/Sprite clutch slave cylinder with adjustable operating rod as fitted to my Minor.

Thanks Phil. I’ve got an adjustable rod and a Minispares account, so it looks like I’m sorted 👍
