hi
i am just about to put the piping/seal around the doors on my convertible, the question i am asking is, should it go on before the outer sill that covers the inner sill or can i put it on first, and then the outer sill ?
many thanks

The bottom of the draught excluder should be retained by the "kick plate" sill. That is why the kick plates have that shape to them at the front and back
You can fit the kick plate parts before the draught excluder if you want to but you'll have to undo the screws at the top and pull the panels back in order to poke the draught excluder down behind them at a later date, so I would do the draught excluder first I suppose. Most people seem to cut the draught excluder too short and butt it up against the top of the kick plate but that is not correct.
Then you have to get the doors to fit........
