Ford Engine

Hi there , I bought what I thought was a good 1966 moggy but when it arrived it was rotten , but a good engine , well after a good underside sandblasting a lot of cutting and welding the shell is now good , I want to do something a bit different , I have a Ford 1600gt cross flow engine . Can someone tell me please will they fit without taking the very front crossmember away and then welding something else in after. Thanks.
