How to show that I am a club member?

Post by Dusty56 »

I can log in to this forum (obviously) but in order to add my membership number I seem to need to log in to somewhere else.
Advice on how I do that please as I am currently going round in circles.

I have managed to log in to members member's area but I still can't seem to add my membership number to my profile.

Hi Dusty
Just did this a few weeks ago.
Click on Profile in the drop-down list from the arrow by your user name top right, , then click on Edit Profile, you should see a box saying "MMOC Member?" with a Yes button and a No button. Click on the Yes button. I just checked and there is a box in which you can enter your membership no. , which I did, but in my case it doesn't appear in my profile, just a "MMOC Member - Yes" line.

Thanks

I have tried that a number of times but it just says no with nothing to click on to change it.

I didn't notice the edit profile.
In my defence I had my retina reattached last week and my vision is not great at the moment.

Done now, thank you.

Now that is a very reasonable defence. I hope you're well on the mend now.

Thanks, it will be a few weeks yet. Having blurred vision in one eye is worse than having no vision in it. The eye is sore and the ten drops (down to six from today) are rather painful but getting less so now.
I have unfinished jobs (minor fettling) on the Minor which is annoying. I can't drive to my workshop as I would be more dangerous than usual! I'm not supposed to do much for another five weeks.
