An electric pump will be fine either earth.
Only the electronic (pointless) ones are polarity conscious.
So ensure it is an AUA 66 and not an AUA 66EP
I will however add a small caveat; any pitting of the contacts from normal wear and tear will now occur in the opposite direction, so the points in the pump should be looked at and if necessary given a little clean with a Points File.
Of course, it could be many years until you have any trouble with them, depending on the current condition.
