New owner.

Post by OLDCODGER »

Good afternoon. I joined this most excellent and informative forum a while ago in order to glean as much knowledge as I possibly could prior to taking the plunge into Minor ownership. I've finally taken the plunge and treated myself to a 1965 Traveller. I have attached a photo (hopefully !).
I intend on being an active member, and look forward to learning a lot more and hopefully contributing a little too.

Welcome, the car looks great in the sun. Always difficult with different monitors, but is that colour Rose Taupe or something different?

Thank you for comments. Indeed Rose Taupe is the colour. It just appealed to me with the red interior. After second short local run, noticed small water leak from Thermostat housing. Eased myself in to the maintenance with a gasket change !!

Welcome to the madhouse!
Lovely traveller, and if a small water leak is the only problem you've got yourself a winner! :tu1:

Welcome to the Forum. Rose Taupe is a lovely colour. My first ever Saloon was that colour and it was a 1964 model.
Sadly, I don't have it any more, but I do have a number of other examples (see sig pic).
Enjoy the car, George.
