Armstrong spares

Post by Grumpy21 »

My new to me, ‘used but in good condition’, front shocks leak! Can anyone point me to a source of spares? Particularly the oil seals where the arm shaft exits the shock body.

Thanks

It is not an easy job to dismantle & recondition these. There is a thread here showing how.

ESM do exchange reconditioned units, see:

Thanks, yes I could go the exchange route but there’s no fun in that. Besides £80 plus compared to £5 for a seal seems a no brainer. But as you say, maybe they can’t be changed at home but worth a try I think.

Ps, ESM, who I’ve bought almost all my parts from, have increased their free postage threshold to £100 now.

Pops, that link to reconditioning is brilliant. Thanks

I believe they give you £50 back for your old one.
