Identifying stamped plate ?

Can someone assist me with the two numbers stamped on a plate fixed to the baulkhead on the right of the battery….. see attached photo.Image

March/April 1969 2dr?
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Hello ‘POMMReg’ - yes it is Dec. 1969 2dr.
So the two number are what ?

Unless first registered in December, body nos. indicates Spring '69...check original engine nos. prefix please..

Unless it's a former Police Panda?

Does the VIN start with 1247xxx(ish)

Numbers should be duplicated on the NMP plate which is on the NS engine bay tie plate near the front.

My apologies! … it was first registered July 1969.
Sadly both NMP plate and plate on block missing.
So all I have is :

the top two pics in your post show the chassis (modern VIN) number and for your 69 model this number is( often as not "was") stamped on the RHS floor well,

The other one is the car body number. i seem to remember, that the body number had nor particular use......true?

Going by 2/14 list - 18 pages whereas latest 52 - check it later IF laptop plays ball. :lol:

Bit of a puzzle tbh, logical conclusion is/was the bodyshell sat around for a month or so...even the 10MEH is very low numbered for 69, usually in the 7k's....

All a guess tbh..
