Oversized cam adjusters

My hypothetical question specifically relates to 7” drums.

Is it, after checking and replacing all other worn parts, possible to fit the larger 8” adjuster cams and masks to the 7” drum set up to allow for better adjustment?

The brake snail cam adjusters are the same overall size for both 7" and 8" brakes.
The 8" snail cam adjusters have a larger pivot pin and the carriers are made from heavier gauge steel.
To answer your question the 7" and 8" snail cam adjusters are interchangeable.
