Engine oil breather
Can I purchase a new Breather for 1098 engine. I have looked everywhere but cant see anything. There are some newer type on ebay but not sure they will do the job.

You cannot buy a new canister breather to suit the 1098cc engine.
You can only buy them second hand.
You could get your breather modified (use search facility viewtopic.php?f=4&t=73891&p=670345&hili ... er#p670324 ) so that the breather canister is openable and the gauze regularly cleaned or fit a new Mini breather canister to the fuel pump aperture.
Below is the adapted Mini Spares breather canister (Pt No: LLC10047) fitted to my Minor engine.
You can only buy them second hand.
