Santa's list this Christmas

Post by Pete Bags »

What does everyone have on their tools wish list for Santa this year?

I'm quite tempted by the Gunson 'Clikadjust' tool for easier adjustment of the tappet gaps - and a new, non leaking grease gun!

Any other useful gadgets I should add to Santa's list? :D

Grease gun 'G' coupler, link below.
Gets grease to where it's needed so much more accurately than the ones usually supplied with grease guns.
Allot less 'splurge' around the nipple to boot! :D
Best wishes,
Mike.

Also a plastic pipe cutter for your hoses, keeps the cuts neat and straight:

Capacity 36mm :-?
I guess that would just about fit a Minor Bottom Hose.
Nice thought, I've never seen those before. I always use a sharp blade and a L shape frame, such as a metal shelf support.

I have a pair, they cut the bottom hose to length very neatly. :D
Best wishes,
Mike.

Don't need any tools for my Minor, but I will be getting a slide hammer to remove the half shafts from another car to do the oil seals.

Whatever tool fixes this forum, a big hammer springs to mind ! More downtime earlier.

Gunson colortune. They’re like hens teeth but finally found and got a new one from Frost Auto Restoration!

On the G coupler mentioned above, it’s all I've ever used when greasing and they’re very effective.

If you had a DeLorean you would not need a colour tune :D
