I've been dutifully looking at cars for a little while and there's one I quite like the look of.
Would anyone with more knowledge than me mind taking a look over the advert to tell me if there are any red flags I'm missing?
I understand of course that an advert and photos can hide a multitude of sins, and I have no specific concerns other than the obvious, but it's more of a general overview and any red flags I probably haven't thought of

" I'm sure if you post a link to the ad there are plenty of people here who will give you their thoughts..... " and maybe beat you to it...
John ;-)
I was also being discreet as it has a club sticker in the window. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm questioning their integrity

Plenty of Club Stickers around over the years, doesn't mean they are still current.
My car used to belong to a Club Member, but he was such a self confessed Luddite, there's little chance he even knew this forum existed, let alone be here currently. I've certainly seen no mention of my Basil being here before I joined the forum.
So long as people remain civil, I don't see a problem about being honest in what people 'pick up' on an advert.

Is the advert in the magazine or on 'another' site, like eBay for example?
If it's on another site then just post up a link for us to view and don't worry. I think alot of us are curious right now.
As Berni says, just because it displays an old club sticker doesn't mean the seller is a member.
Best wishes,
Mike.
