I first thought it might be about riding the cycle in a bikini, but then noticing the Officer's bike reg no, being a K plate puts it as 1 August 1971 – 31 July 1972....
So as Cycle helmets became law 1 June 1973, perhaps she's one of the very first to get stopped for no helmet......
Any excuse eh.... :wink:

It is hard to tell but I think that might be a GPO van, so he's probably fixing a telephone nearby and "allowed" to park there :wink:
I wondered if I could spot the ladder rack on his roof?
