I know that it is closed for the duration of the pandemic but does anyone know if the Pembrokeshire Motor Museum is intending to reopen when restrictions are lifted?
The reason I ask is that there does seem to be a lot of items for sale on 'e' bay from the museum.

Re: Pembrokeshire Motor Museum
Hi Phil,
A search on Google brings up the links and the usual 'Wikipedia' box with images to the right hand side, sadly under the pictures is a red boxed caption that states 'perminently closed'.
There is also a down arrow, the box it opens repeats this message but also states that 'if this is wrong suggest an edit'.
It looks like another victim of COVID.........
Sick of this bloody virus, as is everybody else.
So, frustratingly long as it is, I'm backing Boris with his slow route out of lockdown.
That said, the point is that once were out (sometime in June / July) no-one is going to accept going back.
From what I've seen everyone is pretty much mentally done / at the end of their tether and I believe the suicide rate is going up.
If anyone suggests another lockdown after this one is over and we've had our injections I think they will nationally get the 'two fingered salute' and be told to 'get stuffed!'
Back on topic, what have they got for sale then?
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Pembrokeshire Motor Museum
I saw the items for sale and wondered what was going on. I did do a search of the web and saw it was closed.
In one of the reviews of the museum it said the owner was ill.
Here is a link to the parts for sale. A real mix of items.

Re: Pembrokeshire Motor Museum
Yes Phil, a real eclectic mix.
I have given it a sift and these are the things that might appeal directly to a Morris Minor owner:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Morris-Badge ... Sw8Ehe2S1G
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Indicator-Sw ... Sw0UNesDEI
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smiths-Dash- ... SwfaZe3Olk
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Morris-Minor ... Swvc9gFxWG
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/morris-minor ... SwRpVfCK4a
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/morris-minor ... SwHNxfELbu
I believe some of us have Austin A30s and A35s:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A30-Bonnet/1 ... SwMD5d4Cye
Here's a fog light, however given a recent topic on here, it could also be repurposed as a high level brake light:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vintage-car- ... Sw6vxesDJ0
For the Morris Marina fans / owners amongst us there is a selection of Haynes manuals:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/haynes-manua ... SwzkVgAG6L
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/haynes-manua ... Sw4nNgFcXK
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/haynes-manua ... SwkkhgFdNb
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/haynes-manua ... SwwlNf8IwU
And for those who love a badge bar, are you missing this one?

Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Pembrokeshire Motor Museum
A shame to see another museum close.
I must say their asking prices are mostly ridiculous.
Particularly when no delivery is offered and buyers are expected to collect from a relatively isolated part of the UK.

Re: Pembrokeshire Motor Museum
I don't know the place, but when I saw Phil's Post I did a search for it.
Reviews on Trip Advisor don't really give it a 'Thumbs Up'....
It was getting regular reviews until Sep 2016 when there was the last one,
https://www.britishmotormuseums.com/mus ... mus_id=131
it's been closed since April 2015, so nothing to do with Covid.
The website seems to have been taken over by a Loan Company.....

Looks like it's being wound down at the same snail's pace visitors were commenting on when it was open....

According to this siteClosed since 2015
"Always wanted to visit. Now closed I understand due to illness of owner. A shame as I was told years ago it was worth a visit. I hope owner recovers or it changes hands & re-opens."
