FTC fuel pellets

Post by Owlsman »

Not that I'm the slightest bit interested in adding these things to my petrol tank but I've just read an ad in yesterday's paper extolling the virtues of this wonder product. Apparently, with one application, it reduces emissions, cleans your engine and gives you improved performance. It was written in the style of ''What they don't want you to know about'' - you know what I mean, I'm sure. Needless to say there were plenty of 'genuine' testimonials.

The cynic in me tells me it's yet another snake oil product but I'm wondering if anyone has any first (or second-hand) experience of said pellets.

Pretty sure "Practical Classics" did an extended test on these years ago and found no benefit, see also:

Thanks for that.

As I suspected then - one to file under 'snake oil'. :D
