Rear Hub Oil Seal

Post by mobylette »

Just done this job as oil was leaking out of the drain hole. Expected the drum to be contaminated but it was all dry :) , bearing and seal came out without too much trouble. Inspecting the seal, the problem was clear, the complete lip is missing, presumably got brittle with age and snapped off. Test drive all OK, but now one of the front brake (Riley 1.5) cylinders is sticking, so that's the next job. Hope I can find a seal kit.
