Bodywork, Twickenham
Does anyone know a reliable garage who could undertake some bodywork repairs to a 1970 traveller (not the woodwork). I'm in Twickenham so need someone relatively local - south west London, or east Surrey?
I'm hoping someone here may be able to give me a recommendation.
Thanks in advance

Kate you could try www.osc-chessington.co.uk .
He painted my classic car , plus two for two of my best mates ( one owns a two door Morris Minor saloon !! ).
All three were a " post restoration " complete respray. I know of three other cars including a classic Jaguar that were painted by OSC. I took my own car back after a stationary ( me ) "roundabout shunt " up the backside. Lower valence with no access behind for panel beating out.
His bread and butter work is for a Rolls Royce specialist but he has lots of classic cars through the workshop ,
including some concours sportscars flown in from abroad. In case you're panicking at this stage of the game about cost , his premises are certainly not modern, the opposite in fact.
Cost ? I've found that they are reasonable compared with other quotes. Standard of work... perfection everytime !
You may have to wait a week or two , he is always busy ( as the best people always are ) but....in my experience people who can " fit you in straight away " don't do much repeat business.

If you want to discuss anything further over the phone please send me a PM message.

Thanks Rob, I’ll give them a call. Someone suggested Chertsey Minirs but the one time I took my car there for a service it broke down 2 days later...

I recommend checking out Twickenham Auto Repairs. They have a good reputation for bodywork, and many locals have had positive experiences with them. Another option is MOT & Service Centre in nearby Hampton; they also handle classic cars. Hope this helps!

Well done Simon, thank for your hard work in dealing with the annoying AI scraper bots.
Watched a clip of someone cold called by AI. He asked are you AI? to which it replied, "wow I must sound bad today for you to think I'm not human" It then went straight back to its AI script
Regards Bill
