Okay, so having run through the 'F' plate options on the DVLA site last time I thought I'd try the suggested 'E' suffix:
No joy with 'KXN', so I tried 'KKN':
KKN 250E sits on a blue Vauxhall...…
KKN 258E is no longer (or never was) on their site...….
I think that's the bottom of the aforementioned rabbit hole.
