I'm thinking of having a go at replacing the rubber bushes on the leaf springs. I have never done this before and wondered where to jack up the rear of the car from? Also how difficult are they to change?
The rubber bushes on mine have perished so need to be replaced.

Re: Replacing rear suspension bushes
A relatively easy job to do.
Jack up and secure with axle stands just in front of the rear spring front hanger bracket, use a piece of timber to spread the load.
Soak every thing in release fluid before attempting the dismantling.
Do one side at a time and use a jack to raise and lower the axle/spring.
Replace the rubber bushes with Poly Bushes and use later shackle pins with UNF threads as they have a better finish to the threads and pin shoulders.
The above is only a snap shot on how to do the task but if in any difficulty please ask on here.
Take care and make sure that the car is secure on the axle stands and jack before getting under the car.
