clutch pedal

hello all,
I need to make a new pivot pin for my clutch pedal, I think it is made from mild steel, does anyone know for sure? It turns in bronze/brass bushes.

Yep, it's made from mild steel, and most Minor specialists do them (about £7 I think!?!) you will need to grind the clutch pedal off the end and weld it onto your new pivot pin.

And it turns in 4 phosphor bronze bushes (2 in the brake pedal and two in the chassis rail)
