Back to the original subject.... I'm also thinking about discs mainly because I'm moving to Lincoln and it's rather hilly there! I was told to go for Ford based ones rather than Marina. I have decided to wait and see how expensive Betsy's MOT is first though :-? It may be that she's still on 7" drums in which case if I'm feeling poor she'll just get 8" drums fitted instead.

Really?? I'm sure we'd all forgotten that since the other 200 times it was brought up for no reason ;-)
How about we have a vote - All Minor owners who use the term vs Morgan owners who use the term. The ones in the biggest number then have the right to use their term without annoyance?

Lincon? Hilly!?

Certainly, if you're going to be living in the Lincolnshire Woulds then it's going to be hilly, but anything south of Steep Hill in Lincoln is pretty flat!

I only know because I used to live just south of the City and Hebe was brought from Bassingham after having spent pretty much all her life in the Lincolnshire Fens!

My advice is to go for the LJH Kit. From what I've heard they're excellent, if somewhat more expensive than other kits.

If you're going to be going North of Lincoln or heading up onto the ridge then you'll enjoy having them :)

I'm going to be doing a course based right at the top of Steep Hill, so I'm looking for somewhere to live that's on the uphill side.... though not too far out of the city. I really want to be able to go off for drives and see the countryside though - hills are such a novelty for me I will to have to go and drive around a bit just to see what they look like!
