Hi all
Does anyone happen to have a photograph of a Traveller with a specific cover fitted.
I have just ordered a "Stormshield plus" from "Specialised Covers" in Shipley, they take four weeks to make and supply, and I was just wondering what it will look like on the car when it eventually arrives.
Thanks
Phil

Re: Car Cover
Not seen the Minor one, but pretty sure my Beetle came with a Stormshield cover. Silver on the outside and soft and woolly inside? It was excellent for a stored car but a pain to take off and on. So I couldn't be bothered and used the garaged cars over the winter.

Re: Car Cover
I bought a top of the range breathable storm force thing for my traveller, it fitted superbly but I sold it very quickly as they all trap moisture against the paint and the wood. they also abrade the paintwork, soft lining or no soft lining, they rub the paint away with constant rubbing in the wind and any micron sized particles of grit, dust will be picked up and used as a polish by the cover as it moves around all day everyday.
My breathable one was indeed breathable, you could blow through it but this doesn't stop condensation forming and staying there all day.
My advice which you didn't ask for but ill share my view anyway is, if the car is outside, just don't fit a cover on it. it will ruin your paintwork and promote dampness in the wood.
