Belt & Braces
Hi all, My traveler has the original type front dampers, also a pair of gas shocks fitted on the wishbone arm, is this ok, or will they be fighting each other?

No they will not be fighting each other - they will be assisting each other.
When the tele dampers are fitted it is usual for the damper valves to removed from the lever arm dampers and the hydraulic oil to replaced with straight 30 grade oil so that they just become the front suspension top links.
I would check that the lever arm damper valves have been removed.

Re: Belt & Braces
Sorry for my ignorance, but where is the damper valve, and an idea what I'm looking at please.

See the attached link:-
http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/shop-by-mo ... minor.html
Item No: 1 is the damper body - follow down from the line between the damper body & No:1 and you will se a hexagon headed nut/plug.
Undo that and put to one side - inside there may or not be a valve assy.
If there is a valve remove, replace the plug and refill with oil
You will need a drain tray to catch the damper oil when the plug is removed.
