I see in the latest Minor Matters that a company called Lokari produces these. Has anyone fitted these?
I would be interested to know if they do the job of fully protecting the inner arch? I would have thought some could be made for the tears too but these are not listed

So long as the underside of the wings/wheel arches are regularly hosed down there is no need for underwing/wheel arch protectors.
Unless those under wing/wheel arch protectors are very close fitting and therefore do not allow any moisture/crud past - the fitment of the protectors could make the problem worse. out of sight out of mind springs to mind.

Pretty steep at 150 Euros a pair, but if they are effective I suppose they save you money in the long run...

Although the intention of these items seems like a good idea, I tend to agree with Phil. Water has a way of finding its way through the tiniest of apertures and, over time, silently does its deadly work on hidden metal parts................
The worst thing is to leave caked mud/cowsh*t in the wheel arches as it soaks up water on a wet drive and holds it there. Under the sills is another place to keep clean as crap gets thrown up there from the front wheels too.

The main areas of rust form around and over the headlamps, the inside rear of the front wing, around the mid placed jacking points, around the inside rear of the rear wing/tie down eye and at the bottom/underside starting at the 'A' posts and running back to the 'B' & 'C' posts.
The exhaust heat reflecting plate under the passenger front floor is another absolute damp trap and should be replaced with non moisture retaining material.
Cleaning the mud off the return of the wing edge is a necessity.
There are other areas that retain the crud but the above is enough to keep you going for the moment.
Keeping the underside of a Minor free from mud and crud will add years to its life.
