How to post a link to a previous post

How do I post a link to a previous post.

Click on the button at the top of the text section which looks like this : URL. This will bring up two section of text that look like this: . Then all you need to do is copy and paste the web address from the search bar in between the two square bracket things ][. Hope this make sense of it all.

Thanks qwerty165 that is what I done but it didn't work.
I copied from and including viewtopic, should I copy the whole web address?
I will try again.

Can a link be created from copying viewtopic onward?
