One of the many memorable road trips in my Ser 2 was from Cove near Kilcreggan, Firth of Clyde - traveled round the top of Loch Long, up and over Rest and Be Thankful down the other side round the top of Loch Fyne, down to Lochgilphead, following alongside the Crinan Canal to Bellanoch, down the narrow road to Tayvallich and onto Isle of Danna (grass is to found in the middle of the road here) arriving at Kiells Jetty in time to see the sun set over Jura.
Then reversing the route back to Cove.
All done in a summers evening and very enjoyable.
The next day went cross country to Rosyth - again an enjoyable journey.
