Power takeoff

Post by grandpascot »

Hi
Is there a particular power point that is recommended for wiring in an accessory? I'm installing an isolation valve that bypasses water flow from the heater and recirculates it around the engine.
Unlike a lot of Minors my heater works too well and on a couple of occasions recently my feet have fried.
Help will be gratefully received.

Why not just reduce the flow through the heater? Part close the tap or whatever mechanical valve you have in the water circuit.

Green wire on the fusebox is only live when the ignition is on and the fuse hasn't blown. Probably the best option?
