You won't get "white residue " with Asd's own or Wilkinson's own and at a fifth of the price [or even less]it does exactly what it says on the bottle too ! So no need for a toothbrush just polish on and polish off, no faffing around with "white bits".

Got a litre of Triplewax Original with caranuba for £4 in Sainsburys. Just finished polishing Max with it (Mad dogs and Englishmen etc etc). Went on easily despite the 29 degrees and cloudy conditions. Max is homeless (temporary lack of garage roof) so waiting for the thunderstorms now so I can see how the water beads

Shake the bottle to mix, spray on, wipe off, buff up.
No residue, no streaks, no effort - you don't even have to wash the car beforehand, it removes all the dirt and leaves a mirror shine.
I will never have to use another product - and my little horror is ebony black!

I also have a number of bottles of Triple wax "waterless wax" which I buy from Wilkinson's when it's on offer [£2 a bottle so I stock up] but I find it leaves "water marks" no matter how hard I wipe it off even on small areas so I tend to use that stuff on my Enfield and Bonneville . When I do very occasionally use the waterless wax on my minor I always wash the car first as even the slightest amount of dust on the paintwork will act like fine grit when rubbing the waterless wax on / off . Even dust can be abrasive ! and yes I know it defeats the objective but I tend to use it if I'm in a hurry and just want an even quicker shine than Asda's or Wilkinson's "fast wax" .

Supermarket own-brand 'value' spray. Apply with any cloth. I find it best to give it a final wipe-off with a micro-fibre cloth. Works a treat on the conservatory too

A related subject is fly splatter! You can get sprays that soften the dead insects that suicide bomb our cars, so that they can be wiped off easily. But has anyone looked at the underside of their bonnet recently? I was shocked at the insects' graveyard I found, presumably thrown up there by the cooling fan.......

However I do agree that for anything heavier than a slight dust I would probably rinse the car first.

Tried this stuff for the first time a couple of weeks ago when I was taking the A30 to a show and time was short. Boomlander is absolutely right. It's good.

I finally finished our car. It was a bit trippy looking at the roof reflection whilst in the garage. Fairly difficult to see where the wall and bush end and the roof begins!!
