Saw a well used black, 948 LCV van (modern front lights tho') in Goodge Street WC1 today- RVS 947. It has been in the area for many years.
A rare one as assembled at Abingdon!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Hampton Dene area of Hereford on Tuesday, two black Minors, 2 door, followed about 1/2 hour later by a four door. I was sat on the school playing fields watching sports day and heard the distinctive sound of a Minor before it hove into view!
cheers

Road-trip and overnight stay in Weston-super-Mare. Rather surprised, but not a single Minor spotted. Instead, yesterday on the M5 southbound (at various points between Worcester and Bristol), a 1967 sloping-tail rare Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto, a 1930's drop-head Humber and on a transporter a 1974 Rover P6 covered in cr*p and looking very barn-fresh. Today on the sea-front at Weston, a 1938 Austin Ten and on the M5 again, a Vauxhall PB Cresta or Velox (1963-ish) on a transporter. Finally a stunning and rare Austin A105 Six (Westminster). Early short-boot version made only between May and December 1956. Two-tone Chelsea Grey and Palm Green. Metal sunvisor with adjustable spotlamp attached. Factory-correct whitewalls.

A tidy traveller at the Great Central Railway (Loughborough) on 17/6/17. It was parked between the station and the engine shed and attracted quite a few looks as people walked past.

It was a decent car in a fairly rare late shade of blue when I sold it in late 2015. I believe it was later sold by Charles Ware in 2016.

This one is now for sale. Advertised in this weeks' Classic Car Weekly. Its a 4-door. £4250. Mileage is actually 29,000. Couple of pics further up this thread, posted on 1 June 2017.

That doesn't sound daft money, if as described. But she won't let me build another garage...

Very tempted but I'd have to sell Max if I went for it. It's only a couple of miles away from me.

Saw couple of days ago a silver euro box in Andover with the registration of 617 DAM. I feel that's a bit in bad taste - am I alone?
