Spark Plugs

Hi,
I just wondered which spark plugs people recommend to best use in our engines to cope with modern unleaded fuel, which runs hotter than the original leaded version. I had 'normal' plugs fail repeatedly in Abby. I then changed to the Accuspark variety and had no issues for years, until recently when I just couldn't get Olwyn to run well with them installed (maybe I had a dodgy set??), however when I swapped back to the old set of Bosch plugs that she came with she ran fine again.................??
Anyway, my concern is that these are of unknown age and won't last forever, so I wondered what people recommend for regular use these days?

You won't go far wrong with Champion N9YC or NGK BPR6.
I have run both with no problems.

If it runs well on the bodge plugs, why not purchase another set?

If that particular reference number is no longer available, I'm sure bodge will have a cross reference to a current number.

I take it you don't like them then................
I still have my Dads Bosch drill, still working fine (touch wood), used it the other day and he died in 1986, so over 30 years old and still going.................
Mind you I shall be gutted the day it packs up (but I'll still keep it -- sentimental value).

Not the above at all.

I have a bodge screwdrivers, planer, jigsaw, dishwasher, fridge, angle grinder, hot melt glue gun, sawsall, oscillating chisel thingy and likely other items. Even a dremel. Better than makita for many tools, I reckon. I often buy champion plugs but have no real aversion to other good quality manufacturers.

One very good thing about the company is that I have always had helpful assistance on the odd occasion I have needed it.

Use Champion N9YC in Lottie. She runs sweet as a nut on them !

Shortly after I got my old land rover rv8 I started having misfire problems. Sorted it easily enough by putting new plugs in. I noticed that the faulty ones were branded 'bosche'...yes,with an 'e'!
Wonder what remote shed they originated from?
