respray

Post by elainemr »

Hi

My Morris 1000 needs a respray as it is 3 different shades of green at the moment.
A friend who owns a garage has said that he will spray if for me if I sand it down and tape bits off. :-?

Realistically is this a job for a beginner and if so, how do I go about it?

Many thanks

Elaine

That depends on how much you feel you can do but there is no reason why you couldn't give it a go especially if the friend is happy to give you tips and make sure you have masked right etc.

Its pretty much a matter of removing any parts not to be painted which can practically be removed and masking the rest up.

The sanding will take time and effort but if you have the right grade papers it is ok!

And yeah if your friend is happy to give advice I say go for it!

(I'm a beginner and I'm working on a stripdown repaint inside and out)
