I have a 1957 with the standard 948 engine and the massive oil bath air filter in it. Can anyone tell me if / where I can get hold of the bush (part No 63 on the Moss diagram) which locates the spur of the filter body in the support bolted onto the head. I have a piece of serviceable, albeit rather unlovely, rubber hose in there at the moment. It does the job but ..... There may be another bush which I can adapt, but I have not seen one.

Found one (I think ) fromMinor Magic in Australia for $AU 4.04 God alone knows what the shipping will be! I think it is either new old stock or more likely re manufactured.

Re: Oil bath air filter bush
The bush Pt No: ACH8364 (item No: 63 in the MOSS parts list) is NCA (Not Currently Available) from MOSS.
Just use a suitable tidier piece of hose pipe.
Even though the hose will not have the raised ends it will not move.
I used a plain length of suitable hose for many years when the oil bath oil filter was still being used on my minor.

I have ordered one just for perfection's sake. Now that I know there is a piece hose in it I keep looking at it! It still has not given me the shipping cost tho!

Re: Oil bath air filter bush
Six weeks to get here and £6.00 postage (with complementary sweets) just fitted the bush and taken the functional but unlovely rubber pipe off. Tick off another obsessive item from the list. Now for the NMP plates.. Taupe! Taupe ......
