Track rod ends

I've just replaced the rubber dust seal on the n/s track rod end. Is there a torque setting for the nut on the underside of the taper pin, or do you just do it up good and tight?
Also, although I've not moved the track rod end itself, should I get the tracking checked?

The post I guess should have been posted under "mechanical " but I expect one of the Forum Administrators will move it for you.
If it's just the rubber boot you've replaced then in theory the nut should be undisturbed. Torque settings for the Morris Minor generally
seem thin on the ground but " good and tight " would fit the bill here. So long as the steering is free to move , car safely jacked up so front wheels are off the ground , to test.
Double check the nyloc nut is in serviceable condition.
Tracking...unless you are aware of uneven front tyre wear .. you may decide to leave it alone. If you think the car drifts / favours one side of the road to the other ( and you have eliminated the braking system/ suspect tyres / tyre pressures as the cause ) then you might get the garage / tyre fitters to check it for you. I've heard of some offering a free checking service but the cost wouldn't be great for peace of mind.

If fitted with a castellated nut - again as above - good and tight but remember you are pulling the track rod end pin down into a taper hole.
If the castellated nut slot does not align with the hole in the track rod pin when good and tight do not back off the nut but tighten just sufficiently to get the slot and hole to align so allowing the split pin to be fitted.
As regards tracking - again as above - there should be no need to check and adjust the track but it does no harm to have the track alignment checked.
The steering alignment should toe in 3/32" (2.5mm).

Thanks both. It's a Nyloc, looks in good nick. I have to do the dust seal on the other side, then I'll get the tracking checked.

Nylock nuts should only be used once and then discarded or used as a plain nut where a self locking requirement is not needed.

As regards lack of torque settings for the Minor - I totally agree nothing much in the Minor Wksp Manual.
The Marina workshop manual is much better and gives detailed torque settings for many of the items shared with the Minor especially if looking for 1098cc/1275cc engine torque settings.
Even the 1800cc Marina engine shares some components with the Minor/'A' Series.
