its never the coil, again

Post by moggiethouable »

I took the old coil off of my none starting Doris and a new one saw her start with alacrity.
It was a fluke though because she wouldn't start again, so armed with advice from Chris Bransby of Tom Roy fame I checked out the rotor arm and guess what?
It wasn't the coil, thanks Chris and apologies to BMC Ecosse in abstentia.

As a penance I suggest wearing a shirt knitted from the finest Scottish heather for a week and recite the following,

It's never the coil
I should replace it first with a nos
The new ones are made in tin huts in far away places
It's never the coil
