Disc brakes (I know ..Yawn)!

Post by surfergirl »

Hi Folks,
Sorry to go over old ground,
been offered a Ford disc brake kit for the Morris, Ive heard different things about them. Ive seen that if the hubs are alloy the bearings can move in the hub and slip.
So just wondered if there were any pitfalls before I part with cash.
Thanks

Only some of the early Alloy hubs used with the Ford disk brake kit were effected by bearing movement/rotation.
The only advice I can give is to closely examine the bearing seats for bearing movement/rotation before purchase.
