Has anyone redrilled Marina hubs out to 4.5 pcd? Looking at a standard casting it appears they may well have used the same one for both sizes but I can only find the smaller size hubs and may need to move the stud holes outwards.
Thanks
Rob

Hello Rob, I have a pair of redrilled marina hubs drilled out and plugged then redrilled to fit morris minor. I used them on my mm when I ran it with a 1340 A series in it in the 80s. Drill and tap 5/8" bsf or suitable size and locktite in then redrill to suit.

Thanks. If you've redrilled at 4inch pcd alright then 4.5 might clear the original hole. I'll have to drag one off the greasy messes in the shed and take some measurements.

Rob
Please find attached photos of a 3.75" PCD Marina hub modified to accept 4" PCD Minor wheel.
The extra 1/4" each way should be attainable.[frame]

Re: Normal Marina hub to 4.5 pcd
Thanks, Phil.
I was thinking that maybe the holes don't intersect so I could drill for 4.5 and merely block off the old holes, which would be nice. Hopefully the back face of the Marine 3.75 hub also has enough meat to take holes out to 4.5 inch. Do the 3.75 hubs clear an MGB caliper alright? I seem to recall there being a small interference issue.
I may need to go for 7/16 studs rather than 3/8 since that is what the Wolseley wheels take.
