Help locating engine year

Hi there

Can anyone help me find the details of the year of make of this engine?
10MA-U-L 154710

I have managed to de-cypher the first part so I think it's a 1098 Austin Morris Engine with central gear change and low compression.

I just need the year of manufacture for my insurance company. I think the engine was replaced during the restoration of the vehicle some years ago but the new engine hasn't been noted.
