Morris Minor and Phone Box photo needed

Post by woodiesenfrance »

Does anyone have a decent photo of a minor (any model) parked by an old fashioned phone box which they would be willing to let me use in the next edition of the French club magazine? We can't afford to pay you, but we'll give you a name credit and a free pen!
Please pm or email me.

What are your pens like, hope they're better than the MMOC examples?!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

How about not one but two phone boxes!! Taken at Port Sunlight on the way back to the Birkenhead car ferry a few years ago. Its actually Steveys car![frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
The traveller was taken at Hunters Lodge in North Devon whilst on a MOT UK trip in 2014

There was in past years a 'Picture Challenge' thread on the messageboard which went on for a couple of years, we should bring it back!

EDIT, Ive just looked up the picture challenge and heres a link to it, a lot of the old pics stored on image hosting have gone but you get the idea. Its a bit like the 'front end Friday' etc that have been on facebook. Alex had created a list near the end of all the topics.

'scuse me but I did reply re the pens.
What I would like is for is someone to offer me a decent quality pic which they are prepared to email me, not one which I screen capture on my iMac. I have tested those given but they are not good enough.
If no-one can help me tant pis, je me debrouille, comme on dit en français, and I'll go through my files of old Minor Matters back to when I joined the club many years ago and scan a pic. and hope it's better.
Now, ask yourself why I might want a pic of a Minor with phone box? There is a very very good reason for it :D at this moment in time, in France, and it's nothing to do with Brexit. Get Googling!

Does a picture of my car at a museum collection count, or does it have to be "on the road".
The Kiosk is fitted out with a pre-STD coin collecting box (A + B box).
The file size is 1.64Mb and I can email it to you if it is a suitable composition.
If you look closely at my "signature" picture, you will see, in the background, just behind a fence panel, my own K6 kiosk.
Alas, not possible to get car and kiosk together.
Regards, George.[frame]Image[/frame]

Thank you George but meanwhile I've been emailed a pic of a million which is just the right size & proportion for the space in the mag.
Apologies for the delay in my reply, but I work weekends in the summer.
